Abstract

|
From the studies in headache disorders, we now know that headache is generated by pain sensitive structures including dura, extracranial vessel rather than brain itself. The trigeminocervical complex, that is from trigeminal nerve ending to trigeminal nucleus caudalis play a great role in development of headache. In addition, the experimental work about cortical spreading depression also contributed to the knowledge of headache disorder, especially in migraine. In this paper, we briefly discuss about experimental approach of headache disorder, with the emphasis of migraine pathogenesis.
